Your Guide to Navigating The Teahouse Studio like a Pro

I’m driving, where can I park?

There are parking lots within the Kong Beng Building ($1.28/hour), however there may be limited lots on certain days (this is more likely to happen on weekdays). For alternative parking spaces, you can consider, Tailee, Halcyon 2, Free Parking @ Moments, or Mapex, which are within short walking distance from The Teahouse Studio.

How do I open the door?

Once you arrive at the door, you will be greeted by our smart door (sorry, but “Hey Siri” will not work here haha). Use the pin code provided and tap on the door lock symbol after to unlock. The pin codes are time sensitive, and will only work during the duration of your booking. The door will remain unlocked until you lock it again.

Please be reminded that shoes have to be removed before entering the studio. We have provided a bench near the door for you and your guests to remove your shoes.

How do I connect to the speakers?

Our speakers can be connected via Bluetooth or a 3.5mm audio jack. To connect to our speakers via Bluetooth, ensure the speaker is turned on and in Bluetooth mode using the controller (it will show the words "BLUE" on the mini-display on the subwoofer). Look for the speakers "VF studio500" on your mobile device. Note that the max volume on the speakers is at "60", but keep volume levels below 50.

To use the 3.5mm audio jack, first enter AUX mode using the controller.

Connecting to the WIFI

High-speed WiFi (1gbps) is provided and will meet the most demanding of use cases that you might require it for. You may connect to the Teahouse WiFi by scanning the QR code near the light switch and aircon controller, and you should be automatically connected!

If you are using a laptop or a device without a camera, search for “The Teahouse Studio” under WiFi settings and enter the password “00lOngm4tchA”.

Keeping the space clean

As we are a community-driven space, we kindly request that you leave the Teahouse in the original condition for the next guests – and we inform guests before yours to do the very same! We do request for events where food is catered, to not leave any traces of food behind, and to wipe down surfaces where food is placed and consumed.

We have provided cleaning equipment and supplies near the entrance to help you with this.

Before you leave be sure to…

  1. Turn off all 3 air conditioners

  2. Switch off all lights

  3. Lock the door (press and hold the lock symbol)

  4. Dispose of trash at the giant bin located in the car park, right beside the gantry. Do not throw your trash at Level 3!
